And here we are again..

At this point of time,

 Our tongues would’ve already been twisted

 No O’s and no A’s

 And there would be deafening silence..

 

With a slim empty line between us,

 It’s as if we’re still a thousand miles apart

 The tranquility’s awkward,

 And so I would break it up

 But you’d want me to stop



You might not notice my eyes

 Staring at you all the time

 Or somehow know

 That my heart’s pumpin’ in a rhythm that spells

 “I want you, please be mine”

 But at least they’re certain, at least they’re true

 

I’ve known your dreams and likes,

 And there’s this ache that would creep through

 I thought I was enough for you

 But I wasn’t and never was..

 

Until today, I’m still living in this realm

 Where I sit in the dark..

 Hopelessly staring at you..

 Sweet but silent, near but so far..

 As you quietly pushdown my sunset..

 And slowly break my heart..
